I don't mind reading tech articles, and emails sitting at my computer, but reading that I could actually enjoy must be done in proper comfort. So 1.5 paragraphs into a bit of writing from j.scottgrand I knew what I had to do. Cut, paste, save as .doc and email to my Kindle. Now I can go curl up with (a fraction of) a very good book. Now that I am up to six pages of apps I honestly need a better way to organize them than doing it on the phone itself. Using the iPhone to organize it's apps is like sorting the contents of six boxes. But you can only uncover one box at a time. AND any item moved must pass through all boxes between it's current box and it's final box. Geeze! Even explaining it is frustrating. Why cant I just have a nice drag and drop method within iTunes... like I have mocked up in the above image (click for larger.) By the way No. 7 on this list helps the process, but not very much.

Let's face it, our Robot overlords are going to be here soon enough. They will be massive and made of metal so all of us squishy, meat-bags will have to do what they say. Looks like my famous (vaguely popular google search result for best/worst tattoo) Tattoogle post wound up on reddit.com today. That got GNF about 5,000 hits tonight. As usual most of the discussion is REAL? or PHOTOSHOPPED? And I can tell you all it is indeed 'shopped.' The proof li es above.

If you have an iPhone you need this game. 15 weapons, great cartoon graphics, deceptively simple game play and all for $1.99. The ten dollar games should be this good. Set it on EASY and just go nuts. That's what I do. (above: I took the liberty of recreating the main character in higher res. Oh and naming him Zack.) I don't know if there is a name for it, but people (people like me) have been using Google's predictive qualities to turn a mirror on society. Why do this? I don't know. "Why is google so..." Try "is it a sin to", "why is britney" etc. Let me know if you've got a good one.

Looks like Kindle 2 will be announced on Monday. Mine was ordered in November so I could not be more excited.
